The La Saladita Data API
Everything the field guide shows is available as JSON. It is free to use with attribution, updated on the same schedule as the pages, and served from the same origin. No key, no sign-up.

Findings
Each finding on /findings/ has a data endpoint: /api/findings-hurricane-tracks, /api/findings-hurricane-phenology, /api/findings-wave-power, /api/findings-marine-heatwaves, /api/findings-climate-trends, /api/findings-rainfall-regime, /api/findings-citizen-science-growth.

Terms and attribution
Free for personal, research, editorial and commercial use. Please attribute as “La Saladita Field Guide, lasaladita.com” with a link, and keep the upstream credits that the responses carry (Open-Meteo, NHC, iNaturalist observers and their photo licences, IUCN, ERDDAP, USGS). Be reasonable with request rates: the forecast is recomputed at most hourly, so cache it. If you build something with it, the author would like to hear about it.
